University – Industry collaboration is paramount to ensure continuous sharing of ideas, expertise and best practices with industry partners. These include areas such as teaching and learning, knowledge exploration and dissemination, research and development, creativity and innovation, consultation, industrial attachment and industrial training. Consistent with the Malaysian Education Blueprint 2015-2025 (Higher Education), there is a need for greater involvement of industry and community in supporting the planned expansion and an enhancement of the higher education system.
Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) has been actively developing and strengthening its network with the industry players in various sectors of the economy. To achieve this, UNIMAS has entered into strategic collaborations through MoU and MoA focusing on shared interest in opportunity encompassing students and staff exchange, knowledge transfer, research and development with clear aims and objectives to ensure creation of mutual value between two parties.UNIMAS welcomes companies and industry players to a strategic collaboration by contacting us at unic@unimas.my
