Welcome to the University Industry Centre (UnIC) official page. This page acts as the information portal of UnIC services as part of our aspirations to uphold UNIMAS's Strategic Plan in line with the Malaysian Education Development Plan 2015-2025 (Higher Education) and Sustainable Development Goals 17: Partnerships to achieve the Goal.UnIC was established on 1st January 2020 with the vision is enable UNIMAS-Industry networks to be in line with the direction of the University and our nation’s current economic developments and changes. Our mission is to bridge the gap between UNIMAS and Industry where both parties act in tandem through win-win strategic partnerships between researchers/academics and industry players.
UniC’s main functions include curriculum continuous improvement, knowledge and technology transfer, industry-based research, and development (R&D) and consultancy, innovation and invention, industrial attachment, professional development programs and other activities and initiatives that benefit both parties. UnIC welcome all industry partners to play our roles in encountering the challenges especially the one arising from IR4.0 and world crisis of Covid-19, which is anticipated to cause a radical change in Industry-Academia networking landscape and norms.
