In line with the Malaysian Education Blueprint 2015-2025 (Higher Education), the Ministry of Education (MOE) has implemented several initiatives towards transforming an excellent higher education consistent with becoming the developed nation. One of the initiatives is the implementation of Academia – Industry Talent Exchange Program CEO@KPT Programme.


The main objective of this program is to intensify the participation of industry leaders by sharing their experiences and expertise with universities’ community. It is implemented through various activities with the selected CEO such as keynote address, public lecture, motivational talk, seminar, advisory panel meetings, co-teaching programs, etc. This will encourage sharing of knowledge and expertise which can benefit both academia and industry. Currently, UNIMAS has two appointed CEO Faculties whose expertise come from various fields as follows:

1) Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr Hamid bin Bugo
2) Dr Salihin bin Abang
